What Documents Do I Need For My Havasu Falls Permit?

After everyone in the group has made an account on HavasupaiReservations.com, confirming that they have read the Laws and Rules of the Havasupai Campground Reservations, use this checklist to retrieve your Havasu Falls permit.

Bring These 5 Documents

  1. Proof of Account Page
  2. Printout of the campground reservation
  3. Photo ID
  4. License plate number
  5. Health insurance card
  1. Print out or take a screenshot of your proof of account page on HavasupaiReservations.com to provide proof that you have acknowledged the rules of the reservation. After you log in, navigate to the top right corner of the page and click ‘Account’ to view the drop-down menu. Select ‘Proof of Account.’ This page confirms the acceptance of the Havasupai Reservation Terms & Conditions and lists your name, phone number, home address, and emergency contact.
  2. Print out the campground reservation from the Dashboard page on the trip leaders account. Campground reservations provide proof of your confirmation code, the trip leader, arrival date, departure date, the number of people in your group, and your pack mule reservation if you have one. Print out two copies. One to leave on the dashboard of your vehicle and one to bring on your hike.
  3. A photo ID is needed by everyone on the reservation to check in. There will be several checkpoints, so keep this readily accessible.
  4. Your license plate number must also be provided to check-in. I recommend taking a photo on your phone, especially if you have a rental vehicle.
  5. Your health insurance card in case of a medical emergency. Because you never think It can happen to you until it does.
