Day One: Iconic Sites & Slot Canyon Wonders
Sunrise at Horseshoe Bend
One of the top Page Arizona attractions, Horseshoe Bend is now a bucket-list destination. This 1.5-mile round-trip trail leads to a dramatic overlook of the Colorado River cutting through Navajo sandstone. Although it’s become more built up over the years, it is a perfect stop for a quick hike and stunning photos.
*Note: Entry is $10 per vehicle (not covered by the America the Beautiful Pass).
Travel Tip: Visit at sunrise to avoid crowds for a more serene experience
Breakfast at Ranch House Grill
Open from 6 am – 2 pm every day, this restaurant is a local favorite for breakfast and lunch. Their menu is full of southwestern fare and comfort food to fuel you for the rest of your day’s adventures! Highly recommend MaryJane’s breakfast sandwich and their crepes!
Antelope Canyon Tour
No trip to Page is complete without a tour of Antelope Canyon, one of the most photographed slot canyons in the world. This slot canyon is the most stunning array of colors and sandstone that lures visitors for even a day trip. Antelope Canyion is on Navajo land and requires a tour to visit. We love to support Navajo natives whenever we can. This is the largest tribe (geographically and numerically) in the country. Antelope Canyon is divided into two sections: Lower Antelope Canyon and Upper Antelope Canyon.
Upper vs. Lower Antelope Canyon
- Upper Antelope Canyon: Easier access, famous light beams (best from 11am–2pm)
- Lower Antelope Canyon: More adventurous with ladders and stairs, and some climbing
We’ve only done Upper Antelope Canyon, but you can’t go wrong with either!
Tour Operators:
- Upper:
- Antelope Canyon Tours Inc. – $85 pp
- Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours – $120 pp
- Lower:
- Ken’s Tours – $75 pp
- Dixie’s Tours – $73 pp

Travel Tip: If you plan to visit both Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon on the same day, save your receipt so you don’t have to pay a second tribal fee.
After your tour, grab some sandwiches and beverages at Lake Powell’s Italian Deli to bring with you for your next excursion!
Float the Colorado River
One of the most peaceful and underrated things to do in Page Arizona is spending the afternoon on the Colorado River. Options range from 2-hour scenic floats to full-day rafting trips that include hiking to Rainbow Bridge National Monument.
Check availability with Wilderness River Adventures.
Dinner at Fiesta Mexicana
Fiesta Mexicana is always a go-to for us when visiting Page. Everything is fresh, they serve handmade corn tortillas, and you have to try their cactus margarita!

Day Two: Dams, Lakes & Desert Adventures
Start your day with a latte and a cannoli from Lake Powell’s Italian Deli, this is vacation after all! (Calories don’t count). If you don’t have a sweet tooth, they serve bagels and croissants to pair with your coffee. We would also recommend grabbing sandwiches here again for lunch later on!
Glen Canyon Dam & Carl Hayden Visitor Center
Start your morning at the Glen Canyon Dam, a massive engineering marvel that holds back the waters of Lake Powell. Walk across the bridge for panoramic views or learn more at the Carl Hayden Visitor Center.
*Note: There is a summer entrance fee of $5 per person to tour the interior of the Dam.
Explore Lake Powell
